CancerCare Manitoba
We understand that a cancer diagnosis can be overwhelming. Patients and families need up-to-date information as they receive care and treatment throughout the cancer journey. This guide will tell you about CancerCare Manitoba and the wide range of services we offer. You will learn about your health team and what to expect during your visits.
At CancerCare Manitoba, we aim to provide outstanding care for patients living with cancer and non-cancerous blood disorders. We work as a team that includes doctors, nurses, radiation therapists, social workers and other health care professionals. We also work with our partners in the community.
Our goal is to eradicate the disease. But this is not always possible. At times we have to focus on controlling symptoms such as pain and nausea.
If at any time we do not meet your expectations, please tell us by contacting the patient representative. Your concerns and feedback are important to us.
