The Lethbridge Cancer Centre was established in 1950 within the Lethbridge Hospital. It is housed on the main floor of the Hospital. The long-term space plan includes construction of a free standing ambulatory outpatient services building within the next five to seven years.

The Lethbridge Cancer Centre has 14 treatment chairs, one treatment bed, one treatment stretcher, three exam rooms, one procedure room, one teaching/quiet room, four offices, a reception and waiting room, a health records area, and a play area for children.

The Lethbridge Community Cancer Centre currently refers all patients who require radiation treatment to the Tom Baker Cancer Centre in Calgary. The new outpatient service building planned for within five to seven years will include a radiotherapy unit.
