Our Zinnia Emblem
In creating a title design for Women&Cancer, we sought to incorporate a symbol that would be meaningful for our readers. The result is our decision to feature a graphic rendition of a zinnia flower in our title. Descriptions of flower meanings feature zinnias as symbols of goodness, lasting affection and remembrance of absent friends. As our readers face the challenges that a cancer diagnosis brings, we hope that the goodness that life has to offer, the lasting affection of friends and family and the remembrance of all of the women who have come through their experience with cancer as survivors, creating a legacy of hope for those who follow, will offer strength and inspiration.
