About Windsor Regional Cancer Centre
------------------------------------------------------------------The Windsor Regional Cancer Centre is located within the Windsor Regional Hospital and provides cancer services to patients in Windsor/Essex, Chatham/Kent and Lambton counties (Erie St. Clair LHIN). Services include assessment, diagnosis, treatment, support, education and research in cancer.
Our goal, working together with others in the community, is to provide the best possible information, care and support.
The Windsor Regional Cancer Centre is an outpatient facility. Most patients come to the Centre for chemotherapy and/or radiation therapy treatments. These treatments are decided upon with your input and consent. Your family doctor, the referring doctor and other medical advisors will be involved in your treatment and follow-up. If you have any questions about this process, please let us know.
The Windsor Regional Cancer Centre is a medical and community leader in cancer care. As such, it is at the forefront of many organizations in your community that provide treatment and assistance to cancer patients. Our professional staff provides you the best possible care closest to your home, family and friends.
The Windsor Regional Cancer Centre is a partner of Cancer Care Ontario.
We work with others toward joint goals in maintaining and improving cancer services for our region. Some of our local cancer service partners that we work closely with are:
